"Some Things To Consider Later" Official Transcript Episode 2 Aired July 9, 2006 ANNOUNCER: This is BOR, Public Radio. ("SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER LATER" THEME MUSIC) ROBERT SCHEINSTEIN, HOST: This is "Some Things to Consider Later." I'm Robert Scheinstein. MELISSA WORTHINGTON, CO-HOST: And I'm Melissa Worthington. There have been some changes to our staff in recent weeks, so we thought we should take some time to re-introduce our correspondents. HEEP: The coup d'etat in Hayeesa is bad news for the donut industry. MELISSA WORTHINGTON: Senior news analyst, Milton Heep. Many are not aware of the fact that Hayeesha is the source of ninety-four percent of the air in the holes of donuts. Since 197 B.C.E., Hayeesha's forests have allowed a steady flow of oxygen to bakeries all over the world, creating an even and round hole. With the change of power, there will no doubt be a change in the quality of donut holes. As the government falls into chaos, many citizens will wake up to find their donuts have likewise collapsed. This will lead to global anarchy. HEEP: Some sources, namely me, have suggested that the coup d'etat was orchestrated by the Weaver administration in order to destabilize the donut industry. It is well-known that the croissant industry has been a longtime contributor to the president's re-election campaign. I, however, disagree with myself on this matter. I have come to the growing realization that General Abu Spikal, the new ruler of Hayeesha, is in fact a leprechaun in disguise. From press reports released this morning from my Frosted Mini-Wheats cereal, it is clear that Spikal intends to enslave his people and force them to mine the gold at the end of the rainbow. HEEP: Whether either of these theories are true, and there is no doubt that some of the two of them is not factually disregarded, one thing is clear. The coup d'etat has created an important precedent for our own country. Now is the time for all Americans to gather weapons and rise up in bloody revolt to serve our master and dark lord, Chef Boyardee. This is Milton Heep. ANNOUNCER: Some Things To Consider Later is brought to you by Ghetto Thug. At Ghetto Thug, we be trippin' wit' the bling-bling shizzle for real, dog.
